Description of Project: Doosan Hydro Technology was contracted and completed two projects to provide Seawater Reverse Osmosis Treatment plants for the Cities of Taba and Nuweiba located in Egypt. The plants were designed and supplied to produce potable water in the quantity of 5,000 m3/day each. Each plant consisted of five (5) 1,000 m3/day trains. The scope of supply included the design, manufacturing, supply and commissioning of the multimedia pre-filters, chemical feed systems, cartridge filters, high pressure feed pumps, RO trains, controls and degasifiers. Doosan Hydro Technology provided installation supervision, testing, commissioning and owner training. These plants have been successfully running and producing their full capacity of water since they were commissioned

Feed water: Red Sea; water delivered from beach well 1.5 Km distance
