Doosan Hydro Technology as the wholly owned U.S. subsidiary of Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction, has been awarded a contract to provide ultrafiltration and double pass reverse osmosis equipment and systems in Barrancabermeja, Colombia.
The system will treat clarified river water from the Magdalena River and process it through submerged ultra filtration membrane technology at a maximum rate of 7,000 gallons per minute. Part of treated water will be used as potable water. The remaining water will be processed through a Double Pass Reverse Osmosis for boiler feed and industrial use.
