August 24, 2011 - Doosan Water BG, Mr. Seokwon Yun announced that Marafiq signed a letter of intent with Doosan for the Marafiq MED project, a contract worth US $120 million. This is an outstanding achievement after winning earlier this year the Yanbu MED project, which is the world's largest single-unit MED in Saudi Arabia.
Mr. Yun said in his email message to Water BG that these two project orders this year represents that Doosan has an established lineup of various capacities in the MED market, which Doosan has been promoting as its core business along with the market recognition of Doosan’s technology and performance capability.
Mr. Yun added that our recent success is the result of all BG members' efforts including R&D's new technology development and Pro-Active Marketing (PAM).
