Tampa, FL, October 8, 2010 - Doosan Hydro Technology (DHT), a leader in desalination and membrane water process equipment, and a US subsidiary of Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction in Seoul, Korea, will be providing a unique technical solution to a Mexican federal facility with multiple site requirements. DHT will provide seawater membrane desalination systems using new 16” seawater membranes. The system design using 16” seawater membranes not only allows for a more compact system approach, but has also facilitated the design of multiple individual operating systems on a single skid. This design provides the redundancy required to assure continuous production and optimization of instrumentation. The compact design also provides significant building footprint reduction and construction savings. This was a value added benefit due to the remote location and difficulty of accessibility to the sites.
