Tampa, FL – The County of Sarasota, Florida awarded Doosan Hydro Technology a turnkey contract for the Venice Gardens Water Treatment Facility Expansion Project. Sarasota County required increasing the capacity of the existing facility by 40% with the addition of a new brackish water reverse osmosis (BWRO) train.
Doosan Hydro Technology has successfully installed and commissioned the new BWRO train with minimal impact to the ongoing operation of the existing facility. Doosan Hydro Technology supplied and installed the following equipment for the Venice Gardens Water Treatment Facility; 1.865 MGD BWRO Train, high pressure pumps, degasification system, CIP system. Carollo Engineers performed the engineering and design of the reverse osmosis system and the required plant modifications.
